inlingua Barcelona is a specialist in language training adapted to the needs and desires of participants -- adapted to the contents, the level, the specific language, the dates and the schedules demanded. Thus, our training centre serves many multinational corporations that have their headquarters or main offices in Barcelona. Clearly our courses are individual and offered throughout the whole year. We are prepared for programming courses in our own facilities in Barcelona at any time.

All language trainers at inlingua Barcelona hold language degrees (or a degree in other human sciences), all possess several years of experience in this field and have been specially trained in the inlingua® own teaching method. The teachers strictly adhere to the rules given by the Head of Studies, who has been a professional language teacher for over two decades. In order to ensure the quality, continuity and uniformity of our services, all of our trainers are on the payroll.

Depending on individual needs, the type of course varies from between 2 and 15 lessons per week. These courses are ideal for strengthening prior knowledge of the language. Programmes are designed on a mid or long-term basis, focussing on the work environment, trips to and stays in foreign countries or preparation for taking an official examination in Catalan, English, French, German, Italian or Spanish.

COURSES IN SEMI-PRIVATE GROUPS (2 – 4 participants)

Courses for people entering the Spanish World for the first time or those who wish to improve their knowledge focussing on the Hispanic culture. Learning in a near private setting, being taught by genuine professionals who use a natural teaching method that has benefited thousands of students worldwide over the last 35 years.

We teach general purpose language that is useful from the very first moment – we exclusively speak Spanish during classes, concentrating on oral language skills and in permanent dialogue with the students. We do not use multimedia in the classroom at all – however, we do use modern teaching material containing contemporary vocabulary used in both Spain and South America. We teach language to be used in day-to-day situations such as travelling, hotels, restaurants, cultural or sports events, meeting friends, correspondence via e-mail, etc.

The basis of our grade level scheme is the language levels system recommended by the European Council (Common European Framework - CEF) supported by the Spanish Cultural authorities. In special cases we can prepare for official exams as our language school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes as a recommended provider of Spanish language and culture.
